-
- Sidestepping the main point aren't we? You have failed to make your case
- to C.S.A.A. Using obsolete <a modern term denoting lack of viability and a
- condition of being exceeded by newer and faster products> and dinosaurs
- <which are extinct and no longer with us at all except in fossil record> in
- the same sentence really shows how little thought you put in the
- construction of your posts. It follows that if you put so little thought
- into your posts then your basic thought processes cannot be all that far
- different.
-
- The 586 class chip is fast but unless you add 16/32 megs of ram into an OS
- solution such as NT/OS2/UnixVariant you end up wasting the throughput
- available. An individual app is not enough. the AMIGA which enjoys the same
- built from the ground up multitasking as the popular OS substitutions for
- 586 class machines does an admirable job at equivalent output.
-
- Ps. to go from my A500 to my A3000 took something like 45 minutes.
